3 Days Amboseli Experience

Wake up early to a sumptous morning breakfast then meet your safari drive who will brief you about the safari, check out of your hotel then embark on your journey to Amboseli national park. Amboseli is approximately 160 kilometers from Nairobi, that is approximately 5 hours drive, you are to reach in the park early afternoon for lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch and resting a bit you will go for an afternoon walk into the Maasai village, the Masai people live on the boundaries of the park and a walk into their village is led by Maasai warriors. Visiting the Maasai village is a chance for you to enjoy authentic Masai culture. Later return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park. Whether embarking on a safari to see “The Big Five” (elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino), planting your very own tree as part of our Re-Forestation Programme, or enjoying a bush dinner and glass of wine as the bonfire cinders waft into the indigo night, your stay will be infused with unforgettable moments.

You can enjoy the comforts and the beautiful setting, in addition to the activities on offer which include game drives, morning bird walks with the lodge's resident naturalist and visits to a traditional Maasai manyatta. There are also plenty of opportunities to unwind at the lodge itself, including an afternoon spent on the veranda watching the game pass by, taking a dip in the natural spring-fed swimming pool or enjoying a relaxing massage.

After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. This is your chance to track the large herds of elephants which have popularly sold Kenya tourism hub worldwide - making Amboseli the world’s site for an elephant research projects. With Mount Kilimanjaro in the background, experience the rewardable scenic view of its beauty. Amboseli is home to the Big Five - making it a truly jungle of African wilderness where you can meet all the big cats such as Lions, leopards, African cape buffaloes, African elephants and Black Rhinos. A visit to the observation Hill is a MUST - this pyramid shaped hill is a great place for spotting wildlife species most especially on walking safari where you can stand at the summit and have a gainful observation of the park’s species such as herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos as well as swamps.

Walk up early for morning game drive to see the sunrise, track wildcats and experience the final safari drive. Weather permitting; there shall be awesome views of the Mount Kilimanjaro snow-capped peaks. Return to the camp/lodge for a full breakfast, check out and return back with lunch enroute arriving Nairobi late afternoon and drop off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport.
